The Southside Neighborhood Watch group and Hannibal Police Department are teaming up to conduct a clean up of the Southside area on June 4 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Volunteers are needed and encouraged to participate.
The Hannibal Street Department will be providing a truck and driver for the event. Trash bags, gloves and bottled water will be provided for participants. Debris in the streets and sidewalks will be targeted for removal. If weather becomes a factor the alternate date will be June 11. Those willing to participate should meet at the corner of South Main and Washington St. by 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 4.
