The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program at Douglass Community Services recently honored Kimberly Stout as the RSVP Advisory Council Member of the Year.

Employed by the Ralls County Health Department, Stout is in her second term on the RSVP Advisory Council.

Her positive attitude has benefitted many of our programs as she strives to solve challenges and include as many people as possible.

Her work with the Senior Expo results in an orderly set-up time for the vendors. She also helps with Toys for Tots by assisting with the Ralls County collections and filling client orders.

Partially funded by the Corporation for National and Community Service, RSVP enriches the lives of senior adults through significant community volunteer service and personal development. RSVP encourages seniors to volunteer their talents, experiences, skills, and hobbies to community not-for-profit agencies for the betterment of those agencies and the community as a whole. RSVP at Douglass Community Services is a United Way Agency.
