The Woman’s Club of Hannibal will end another successful year of education, philanthropy and fellowship with a luncheon hosted by the Hannibal Country Club on Tuesday, April 25.
Registration for the event begins at 11:30 a.m. with lunch served at noon. The cost is $15, which covers both tax and the gratuity. Members are urged to pay their annual club dues of $40 at that time, and one check may be written to the Woman’s Club for both expenses. The menu for the day includes a strawberry/ lettuce salad, chicken con broccoli pasta, bread and a glazed lemon bar for dessert. Coffee or tea are also included.
A short business meeting will follow the luncheon, at which time two new members will be initiated and some longstanding members will be honored. Changes to the actual structure of the club, scheduled to take effect at the start of the next season will be discussed, along with the necessary by-law revisions.
Lisa Marks of the Hannibal as History Museum, is set to close the festivities with a lively portrayal of Molly Brown.
Members are reminded that this is designated as a guest day, and that soup labels and box tops for education will be collected.
