Child injured in fall from golf cart

PERRY, MO. | A 9-year-old St. Peters, Mo., girl suffered moderate injuries at 11:25 a.m. Sunday, July 5, when she fell from a golf cart in rural Ralls County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the mishap occurred when a 9-year-old girl from St. Louis, Mo., was driving a 2005 Club Car golf cart on private property one mile south of Perry, Mo.

Officers said the vehicle was westbound in a field when the passenger fell from the golf cart. She went by private vehicle to Hannibal Regional Hospital.
