Hannibal man injured in collision

MONROE CITY, MO. | Billie G. Marshall, 79, of Hannibal, suffered minor injuries in a collision at 7:12 p.m. Friday, July 3, on U.S. 24 two miles south of Monroe City, Mo.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported Marshall was driving a westbound 2010 Ford Escape and attempted to make a U-turn. His car was rear-ended by a 2010 Lincoln Navigator driven by Kristopher R. Kunz, 25, of Jefferson City, Mo.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, and Kunz did not report injuries. Marshall was treated and released at the scene. Assisting at the scene were the Monroe County Sheriff's Department and Monroe City Fire Department.
