Tempie "Elaine" Zumwalt, 84, of Hannibal, passed away at 12:03 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2020, at her home.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at the Clover Road Christian Church in Hannibal. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Hannibal. Rev. Tim Goodman will officiate.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at Clover Road Christian Church in Hannibal.
The family is being served by the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal.
Elaine was born Aug. 8, 1935, in Lakenan, Mo., to Clarence Pearl Webber and Lucille Huss Webber.
Survivors include seven children, Amy Davis (Dennis); Homer E. Zumwalt Jr. (Penny); daughter-in-law, Roger's Penny Zumwalt; Matt Zumwalt; Daniel Zumwalt (Lisa); Stoney Zumwalt (Phyllis); Ray Zumwalt (Darlene); and Wayne Zumwalt (Rhonda). Also surviving are three granddaughters raised as daughters, Brandy Joles, Kelli Joles and Keri Penrod; one brother, Carl Webber (Katherine); one sister, Lois Perrigo; 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; three daughters, Lois Adams, Rachel Ard and Diane Zumwalt; two sons, Roger Lee Zumwalt and Leroy Zumwalt; one brother, Clarence Earl Webber; two sisters, Josephine Adair and Joan Cantrell; and two great-grandchildren.
She was married to Homer Edward Zumwalt Sr. on Feb. 14, 1952, in Pocahontas, Ark. He preceded her in death on Oct. 23, 1975.
Professionally, Elaine worked as a supervisor in housekeeping at Luther Manor Nursing Center in Hannibal for over 18 years.
Elaine had a close relationship with God and loved singing hymns, reading her Bible and attending church. A wonderful cook, Elaine made the most delicious noodles for her church's chicken and noodle dinners. She also cooked for church campers at Camp Oko-Tipi over the years. Elaine enjoyed camping with her brother and sister-in-law in their RV, and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Elaine was a member of Southside Christian Church and later Clover Road Christian Church.
Pallbearers will be Elaine's grandsons, Aaron Davis, Jordan Zumwalt, Kevin Penrod, Brehton Zumwalt, Justin Miller and Pauly Holman.
Memorial contributions may be made to Clover Road Christian Church.
