Rolla man injured in one-vehicle crash

HANNIBAL | Levi M. Burns, 20, of Rolla, Mo., suffered minor injuries when his vehicle overturned at 3:45 p.m. Friday, July 3, on U.S. 61 a half mile north of Hannibal.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Burns was driving a northbound 2000 Dodge Durango. Officers reported that to avoid a collision, Burns drove it off the left side of the highway, and it overturned. He was using a safety device.

Burns went by Marion County ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital. Assisting at the scene were the Ralls County Sheriff's Department and Hannibal Rural Fire Department.

HANNIBAL | General Mills presented a $35,000 check to The United Way of the Mark Twain Area for the COVID-19 response fund on Thursday at its plant in Hannibal.
The General Mills Foundation has committed $1 million to aid communities most impacted by the novel coronavirus through a gift to United Way agencies across the country. Funding will provide emergency assistance to people experiencing poverty with resources for food, shelter, childcare and other support.
