HPD investigating shooting

HANNIBAL | On Thursday, June 4, at approximately 9:17 p.m. Hannibal police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Gordon Street to investigate a shooting. Upon arrival officers located a 45-year-old man who had been shot. The man was transported by the Marion County Ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital.

The HPD reported it appeared to be an isolated incident with no danger to the general public. The investigation was ongoing Thursday, with more information to be released when appropriate.
