Teen injured in one-vehicle crash

MADISON, MO. | A 16-year-old male juvenile from Madison, Mo., suffered minor injuries in a one-car crash at 7:20 p.m. Thursday, May 28, in Monroe County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported he was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Cruz on U.S. 24 one mile west of Madison, when the car went off the right side of the road. The driver was wearing a seat belt. He went by Monroe County ambulance to the University Hospital in Columbia.

Assisting at the scene were the Monroe County Sheriff's Department and Madison Fire Department.
