Palmyra man injured in crash

HANNIBAL | Matthew W. Cashman, 29, of Palmyra, Mo., went by Marion County ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries suffered in a one-vehicle crash at 6:20 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, in Marion County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported Cashman was driving an eastbound 2013 GMC Yukon on Marion County Road 422 one and a half miles west of Hannibal.

Officers said the vehicle went off the right side of the road and hit a tree and a ditch. Cashman was not using a safety device. The Hannibal Rural Fire Department assisted at the scene.
