HANNIBAL | The Hannibal Free Public Library at 200 S. Fifth St. will celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday with a weeklong celebration on March 2 through March 7 in the Children's Room.

While supplies last, two Dr. Seuss board books, “Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You?” and “The ABC Book,” will be given to children to take home for their home libraries. There will be an easy craft available each day. The library hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m Wednesday through Saturday.

Books for give-away are provided through Families And Communities Together (F.A.C.T.) from First Books. The Seuss Celebration is free and open to the public. A library card is not required to participate. For more information, contact Amber Cooley at 573-221-0222 or acooley.hfpl@gmail.com
