Jimmie McKuin Boef, 81, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away at 8:05 a.m. Friday, Feb. 21, 2020, at the Beth Haven Nursing Home in Hannibal.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020, at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Hannibal. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal. Father Mike Quinn will officiate.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church.
The family is being served by the James O’Donnell Funeral Home of Hannibal.
Jimmie was born on May 10, 1938, in Santa Anna, Calif., to Earl Sisco and Edith Sheffield Sisco.
She was previously married to Carrol McKuin Sr. He preceded her in death.
Also preceding Jimmie in death were her parents; one son, Carrol McKuin Jr.; one brother, Bill Sisco; and one sister, Gerri Kroman.
Survivors include one daughter, Tammy Rouse (Les) of Hannibal; two sisters, Janie Darbyshire (Bob) of Hannibal and Muriel Sisco of Hannibal; one grandson, Nicholas Rouse; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jimmie retired as a nurse, having worked many years in Poplar Bluff, Mo., and in the state of California.
Jimmie loved to spend time with her family. She was a wonderful cook and loved nothing more than to entertain family and friends. Jimmie also enjoyed reading cookbooks and doing needlework. Most of all Jimmie cherished the time she shared with her family and friends, especially her grandson, Nicholas.
Jimmie was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
