Palmyra finishes second in district round

MARSHALL, Mo. – The Palmyra girls golf team finished second place in the Class 1 District 5 match Tuesday afternoon at Indian Foothills Golf Course.

Palmyra finished with a 419, and was just five shots behind district champion Centralia.

Samantha Hirner finished tied for third with Moberly's Alessia Oliver, who both carded 97s. Harrisburg's Bailey Bexten won the individual title with a 93.
