Betty J. White, 55, of Shelbina, formerly of Moberly, passed away at 12:07 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal.

Betty J. White, 55, of Shelbina, formerly of Moberly, passed away at 12:07 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal.

Arrangements for cremation are under the direction of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal.

At Betty's request there are no services planned at this time.

Betty was born Dec. 15, 1963, in Hannibal to Francis W. and Mardell Ames Leake.

Survivors include her special companion, Darrell Wheeler; two children, Daisy Houston of Moberly and Daniel Kitchen of Moberly; two brothers, Anthony Leake (Paula) and Donnie Burton; three sisters, Mary Brown, Myrna Leake and Teresa Painter; two grandchildren, Izabell Kitchen and Abigail Kitchen; and her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Russell Eugene Burton.

Professionally Betty had worked as a certified nurse's aide and a certified medical aide.

An avid reader of science fiction and books on the paranormal, Betty also loved TV shows and movies about the same.

Fishing anywhere she could with family was also an activity that Betty took pleasure in.

Crocheting, having her nails done and visits to the Mexican restaurant for a dinner out were a few of Betty's favorites.

It was time shared with family and friends though that Betty treasured most.
