One person suffered head injuries in a Sunday night burglary that resulted in the arrest of three Hannibal males.

At 10:56 p.m. Sunday , Oct. 25, officers of the Hannibal Police Department responded to a report of a robbery at a residence in the 200 block of S. 5th St. The resident of the home reported that he and another occupant had been awakened to someone assaulting them with a blunt object. The resident also discovered several other people inside his apartment stealing his belongings. The suspects then allegedly fled from the apartment on foot.

The victim identified two of the suspects as Joshua L. Boss, 25, and Preston R. Blue, 20, both of Hannibal. Officers located Blue and Boss at a residence in the 1300 block of Park Ave., where they were placed under arrest. Also arrested was 17-year-old Damon G. Kyle, of Hannibal.

All three suspects were arrested on charges of first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary. Boss and Blue were also charged with unlawful use of a weapon. All suspects were released to the Marion County Jail on 24-hour holds. One of the occupants of the residence suffered injuries to his head and was transported to the Hannibal Regional Hospital by Marion County Ambulance.
