Robert Keith "Bob" Howes, 71, of Hannibal, Mo., passed away at 2:45 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015.

Robert Keith "Bob" Howes, 71, of Hannibal, Mo., passed away at 2:45 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015.

Friends and family are invited to Bob’s life celebration at a visitation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30, 2015, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, Mo.

The family will host a memorial gathering at a later date.

Mr. Howes was born Dec. 28, 1943, in Hannibal, Mo., to James and Flora Young Howes.

He was married to Margaret Shepherd on May 26, 1962, in Hannibal. She survives.

Other survivors include four children, Threasa Doyle (Gerald) of Wilmington, Ill., Robin Smith (Kenneth) of Center, Mo., Donna Waters of Hannibal, Mo. and Deanna Wyckoff (Rob) of Palmyra, Mo.; his sister, Jackie Foster of Hannibal, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Roy Howes, Jerry Howes and Teddy Howes; and one sister, Dorothy Ledbetter.

Mr. Howes worked as a boiler maker in Indiana, then later owned and operated Bob's Auto Salvage in Hannibal. He enjoyed going fishing, camping and boating. He also enjoyed his trips to the casinos. He loved spending time with his family. He was a Jehovah's Witness by faith.

Honorary pallbearers will be Travis Howes, Kenny Smith, Jerry Doyle, Rob Wyckoff, David Elzea and Brian Blackstun.

Memorial contributions may be made to the James O'Donnell Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
