Betty J. Fiesler, 84, of Hannibal, Mo., passed away at 1:45 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, 2015, at Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Palmyra.

Betty J. Fiesler, 84, of Hannibal, Mo., passed away at 1:45 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, 2015, at Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Palmyra.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30, 2015, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Rev. Mark Albee will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal, Mo.

Friends and family are invited to Betty’s life celebration at a visitation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Fiesler was born July 25, 1931, in St. Louis, Mo., to Phillip Faulkner and Nora Evans.

She was married to Billy G. Fiesler, Sr. on Jan. 25, 1950, in St. Louis, Mo. He preceded her in death Nov. 12, 2013.

Survivors include three children, Dorothy Collier (Bill) of Hannibal, Mo., Billy G. Fiesler, Jr. (Rhonda) of Hannibal, Mo. and Shirley Niskanen of Arnold, Mo.; two brothers, Harry Nine and Robert Nine; eight grandchildren, Amy Winningham (Mike), Chad Collier (Jayne), April Fiesler, Melody Wright (Howard), Neal Fiesler, Bryan Niskanen (Brittany), Chris Niskanen (Chelsie) and Eric Niskanen; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Fiesler; one granddaughter, Christy Collier; and one sister, Virginia.

Mrs. Fiesler was a homemaker, raising her family. She loved to host family gatherings and cook for her family. Betty was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing in her younger years. Always a caregiver, Betty loved her family and cared for her daughter, Donna, and her husband, Billy, for many years. Betty was a Baptist by faith.

Memorial contributions may be made to Community Loving Care Hospice or the Hannibal Nutrition Center, in care of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Chad Collier, Neal Fiesler, Michael Winningham, Bryan Niskanen, Christopher Niskanen and Eric Niskanen.
