Jaime A. Reynolds has been named to the new position of Regional Advertising Manager for Gatehouse Media Company’s operations in northeast Missouri.

Reynolds, of Benton, Ill., was most recently regional advertising sales manager for a group of Gatehouse Media Company newspapers in southern Illinois. In her new position she will be responsible for all advertising sales functions at the company’s operations in Hannibal, Mexico, Moberly and Boonville. The announcement was made earlier this week by Senior Group Publisher Mike Murphy.

“Jaime is an experienced leader who understands the evolving media landscape,” Murphy said. “Her knowledge, passion for the business, and digital experience will lead our sales team into the future.”

Reynolds will be responsible for all print and online advertising and directly supervise the company’s multi-media sales executives and classified advertising personnel. She will be responsible for implementation of the company’s sales process and the sales and marketing of its digital products and services.

“I am grateful for this opportunity and it’s one that I intend to see through, both for the growth of the newspaper and the surrounding communities,” says Reynolds. “In the short time I have been here, I’ve been overwhelmed with how genuine and sincere everyone is. I look forward to being a part of this team.”

Reynolds began her career at The Tennessean in Nashville, where she was named a Gannett Corporation salesperson of the year for superior sales, leadership, customer service, teamwork and consistently exceeding sales goals.

She has since held positions of increasing responsibility at newspapers in Georgia and Illinois. She is a graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.

Reynolds will be based in Hannibal, where she plans to live with her husband, Kenny, and two children.
