Area students from the group “Circle of Friends” show the donations they gathered during an hour as part of their Hobo Party. The children wore full costumes and asked residents of Hummingbird Lane and Pioneer Trail for “handouts” to donate to the Salvation Army, Mason Ellis said. “It made me feel good that I got to help people who don’t get a lot of help,” Kaitlynn Tharp said. Nathan Young said the activity was rewarding. “This is a lot of fun,” Young said.
