Step back in time to the Missouri of yesteryear at the annual Autumn Historic Folklife Festival Oct. 17-18 in downtown Hannibal. The two-day festival features artisans and craftsmen demonstrating and selling handmade traditional arts & fine crafts, musicians, festival foods and drinks, a children’s area, Farmer’s Market, and a warm atmosphere for everyone.  Enjoy musical performances and live history demonstrations all weekend long.

Bring a jacket and chow down on some famous Hannibal eats. The traditional festival foods will be served, including the cheese soup by St. John’s Lutheran School PTL, which was named the 2013 and 2014 Best of Show food. Steeped in tradition, the festival also offers a bit of fun for people at any age, including a childrens’ parade at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 17.
