Robert “Bob” Tennyson, 75, of New London, Mo., passed from this earth at 11:35 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal.

Robert “Bob” Tennyson, 75, of New London, Mo., passed from this earth at 11:35 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal.

Memorial services will be at 12 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, 2015, at the First Christian Church in New London, Mo. Pastor Tom Day will officiate.

Friends and family are invited to Bob's life celebration at a visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of services Monday, at the First Christian Church of New London.

The family is being served by the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal.

Mr. Tennyson was born Feb. 13, 1940, in Pleasant Hill, Ill., to Robert Ralph Tennyson, Sr. and Virginia Rose Guthrie Tennyson.

He was married to Joyce Davis on May 16, 1959, on the farm outside of Limon, Colo. She survives.

Other survivors include three children, Ron Tennyson of Hannibal, Mo., Sara Whitehall (Steve) of Mattoon, Ill., Tonya Camerer (Chad) of Quincy, Ill.; three sisters; and three grandchildren, Alayna, Francs Marie and Ryan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one daughter.

Mr. Tennyson previously worked as a machine operator and also as an insurance salesman. He enjoyed fishing and watching St. Louis Cardinal Baseball. Most of all Bob loved his family and they always came first. He would say he lived his life “my way.” Bob had many beloved dogs in his lifetime and enjoyed all of them. He was a Christian by faith.

Memorial contributions may be made to Northeast Missouri Humane Society, in care of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
