Mr. Marvin Carl Frankenbach, age 92, of Hannibal, Mo., passed away on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, at the Hannibal Regional Hospital.

Mr. Marvin Carl Frankenbach, age 92, of Hannibal, Mo., passed away on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, at the Hannibal Regional Hospital.

Marvin was born on Jan. 8, 1923, at West Ely, Mo., to Edwin Frederick Carl and Ella Louise Bode Frankenbach. Marvin married Georgia Lou Brown on October 24, 1948 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Hannibal, Mo.

Marvin is survived by two daughters, Connie Schade, Grandview, Mo. and Marla (David) Armes of Kansas City, Mo.; and two sons, Kevin (Sue) Frankenbach of Hannibal and Ross (Donna) Frankenbach of Palmyra. Grandchildren include: Adam (Becky) Frankenbach, Wardsville, Mo.; Blake Frankenbach, Columbia, Mo.; Clinton (Laura) Frankenbach, O’Fallon, Mo.; Sean Frankenbach, Monroe City, Mo.; Christie Frankenbach, Kansas City, Mo.; and Edawna Armes, Camdenton, Mo.; and great-grandchildren, Dashaye and Deon Ross and Elaina Frankenbach. He is also survived by two brothers, Norbert Frankenbach of Palmyra, Mo. and Robert Frankenbach of Hannibal, and many nieces and nephews.

Marvin was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia; a brother, Leslie; three sisters, Irene Schachtsiek, Bertha Fee, and Carlene Shade; a son-in-law, Glenn Schade; and granddaughter, Lainie Armes.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in West Ely, Missouri. Rev. Kenneth Schamber will officiate. Burial, with military honors, will follow at the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015, at the Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra. Memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund or Lutheran Hour Ministries.
