Hannibal Regional Airport’s taxiway/ramp expansion project is nearing a conclusion with some final bits of work planned Monday.
The taxiway/ramp expansion project at Hannibal Regional Airport is nearing a conclusion, according to John Noble of JVAtion.
“It’s going really well,” said Noble during Thursday’s Airport Advisory Board meeting.
Noble said the final concrete pour took place on Wednesday. On Thursday some final cleanup work was taking place along with some grading.
After giving the concrete a chance to cure, workers will return Monday to make some last saw cuts. Also planned Monday is some crack sealing and hydromulching.
“By the end of Monday they (workers) should be out of here,” said Noble. “By Tuesday everything will be open.”
Some final painting is planned later this month.
