Come participate in the Hannibal tradition of Band Day beginning at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13.

Area marching bands will converge in Hannibal for the 67th Annual Mark Twain Marching Band Festival. 29 high school and middle school bands from Missouri and Illinois will assemble at Dulaney Park for a two-hour parade starting at 3 p.m., and will march down Broadway.

The evening field event will follow at 6 p.m., at Porter Stadium at Hannibal High School. Three schools will perform in parade formation and 16 schools will perform their field shows. Hannibal’s Pirate Pride Marching Band will conclude the festival with their field show “Music From Wicked ” at about 8:15 p.m.

The Band Boosters concession stand will serve food and drinks beginning at 4:30 p.m., including walking tacos, chili cheese Fritos, hot dogs, candy, soda, hot chocolate and bottled water. The public is invited to enjoy an evening of great music.

Parking is available in the south lot of the High School by the auditorium and the northeast lot by the Middle School gym. Admission for the evening show is $5 for adults and $2 for students. Children 3 and under are free. People's Choice table will take $1 donations for Favorite Band.
