Area youth participated in the 2015 4-H Teen Camp program from June 7, 2015 to June 10, 2015. The theme for the camp was “Khaos.”

Teens ages 12-14 from Pike, Ralls, Marion, Lewis and Audrain counties took part in the camp at Camp Cedar Crest near Mexico, Mo.

Counselors for the camp were: Teagan Teasley, Kara Meyer, and Shaylen Martin, Pike County; Natalie Phillips, Audrain County; and Houston Bischel and Jacob Rich, Shelby County.

Workshops included: foods, boat making, trivia, agriculture technology, electricity, food science, obstacle course and collective chaos. Through these workshops, campers learned many life skills such as team-building, communication and problem-solving. The keynote topic was presented by the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Marion County youth who attended Teen Camp include: Sadie Spratt, Amy Blair, Sara Ridout, Olivia Lehenbauer, Keri Schindler, Drew Billups, Elijah Edwards, Alison Wilson, Zachary Rosenkrans, Christian Drebes, Alex Delaporte and Lydia Althoff.
