Marvin and Claudene Calhoon of Hannibal are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. This special occasion will be observed with a family dinner in their home.

Marvin and Claudene Calhoon of Hannibal are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. This special occasion will be observed with a family dinner in their home.

Claudene’s parents are the late Earnest Garrett and Esther Pearl Garrett.

Marvin’s parents are the late Ray and Helen Calhoon.

The couple was married July 2, 1965, at 7 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church. The Rev. R.M. Hufstedler officiated.

The bride’s twin sister, Earnestene Garrett (Janes) was maid of honor.

Richard M. Calhoon, brother of the groom, served as best man.

They are proud parents of Tani Diane and Ray Calhoon.

They have six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Marvin and Claudene enjoy retirement and being with their family.
