According to police, box suites at the ballpark were entered overnight by unknown subjects, who reportedly removed “several items.” Deron Johnson, director of marketing and operations for Hannibal Cavemen Baseball L.L.C., said televisions were taken.

“I don't know too many details but we were broken into and had two TV's stolen out of suites,” Johnson told the Courier-Post in an e-mail.

The Cavemen were idle on Monday.

In an e-mail issued by Lt. John Zerbonia, “department detectives are investigating this incident.”
