The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is a really bad trade deal for America – perhaps the worst yet. In fact, it is so bad, the treaty is being negotiated in secret. Clearly, Americans would be outraged if its contents were fully disclosed because TPP implementation essentially destroys what’s left of the middle class. Further, the TPP would have severe negative impact on many of the earth’s poorest people.

Whenever a politician says: “We must first pass the bill to find out what is in it”, a big “red flag” ought to go up. Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said this while “ObamaDoesn’tCare” was meandering its way through the halls of Congress. Now, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) is parroting the same absurd line, this time for the upcoming TTP train wreck. Unfortunately, these two idiots and their corrupt colleagues don’t have to live under the reckless legislation they introduce. Congress always seems to create loopholes to evade consequences for the elite. Subsequently, the vast majority of Americans take the hit after the legislation becomes law. This behavior is typical of our feckless Washington politicians.

The TPP treaty actually has been years in the making. And without question, this trade deal like its predecessors, the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA) and Permanent Normalized Trade Agreement with China (PNTA) is expressly designed to protect multi-national corporations while taking America down to “third world” status. By no means does TPP promote true “free trade”. On the contrary, TPP was written largely behind closed doors by the globalist elite who control Wall Street, international banking and large multi-national corporations. The same elites also control major think tanks, lobbyists and ultimately the politicians.

Perhaps the most controversial aspect of the TPP is a “process” known as “fast track”. If passed, this truly limiting element would deny Congress the right to amend the TPP and represent their constituents’ interests. With “fast track”, all Congress can do is vote the treaty up or down. In other words, it’s all or nothing regardless of how destructive the trade deal really is. Bottom line, the American people and Congress would be entirely locked out of the process. What’s worse is the president could have total treaty control, effectively making Obama “king”.

Fortunately, there are several rays of truth combating this nefarious deal. It is indeed refreshing that at least four 2016 presidential candidates publically declared they vehemently disapprove of this alleged “free trade” debacle. They are Republicans Rand Paul and Donald Trump, and Democrats Patrick O’Malley and Bernie Sanders. Unlike the other Republican candidates and corrupt Democrat candidate Hillary Retread Clinton who sold out to Wall Street, multinational corporations and the Chamber of Commerce, these four candidates are actually looking out for the best interests of the American people for a change.

The most comprehensive response to TPP thus far is a recent paper authored by Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT). In it, the senator provided his scathing summary: “The TPP is much more than a ‘free trade’ agreement. It is part of a global race to the bottom to boost the profits of large corporations and Wall Street by outsourcing jobs; undercutting worker rights; dismantling labor, environmental, health, food safety and financial laws; and allowing corporations to challenge our laws in international tribunals rather than our own court system. If TPP was such a good deal for America, the administration should have the courage to show the American people exactly what is in this deal, instead of keeping the content of TPP a secret.” Sanders also listed “10 Ways TPP would hurt Working Families”:

1) TPP will allow corporations to outsource even more jobs overseas.

2) U. S. sovereignty will be undermined by giving corporations the right to challenge our laws before international tribunals.

3) Wages, benefits and collective bargaining will be threatened.

4) Our ability to protect the environment will be undermined.

5) Food Safety Standards will be threatened.

6) Buy America laws could come to an end.

7) Prescription drug prices will increase, access to life saving drugs will decrease, and the profits of drug companies will go up.

8) Wall Street would benefit at the expense of everyone else.

9) The TPP would reward authoritarian regimes like Vietnam that systematically violate human rights.

10) The TPP has no expiration date, making it virtually impossible to repeal since a unified consensus of all member counties is required.

The fundamental problem in America is BOTH political parties are owned by the same masters – the globalist elite and they are determined to destroy our Republic. Globalism is what drives the two party system. It has been gradually changing the American way of life for generations by diminishing our borders, language and culture. And thus far, the globalists have been extraordinarily successful. Moreover, the middle class has long been targeted for extinction since we are the only significant force holding back the globalists’ neo-feudal one world statist system. Because of this, it’s clear NEITHER political party is motivated to author truly “fair trade” deals and fully secure our national borders.

Additionally, it is utter nonsense when politicians tell us, “We’re going to bring back manufacturing”. The fact is, manufacturing has been on a steady decline since the late 1970’s and implementation of these so called “free trade” deals has only accelerated the loss. Just read Paul Craig Roberts’ eye opening books entitled, “How America Was Lost” and “The Failure of Laissez Fair Capitalism”. Dr. Roberts is a true constitutional conservative and nationalist like Senator Barry Goldwater (R-AZ) was. He was also President Reagan’s Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Economic Policy and cofounder of “Reaganomics” with Art Laffer.

Although politicians and lobbyists masquerade under the guise of “free trade”, their actions are contrary since they promote globalist agendas and open borders at the expense of the American people and the world’s poor. Remember Ross Perot talking about NAFTA, GATT, the WTO and “that sucking sound” in the 1990’s? You might think the sucking sound is simply Washington politicians but it’s really the millions of high tech manufacturing, engineering and IT jobs that continue to migrate overseas or by immigrants taking these jobs in the U. S. on work visas because labor costs are considerably less. In today’s Orwellian “doublespeak”, “free trade” really means “slavery”, particularly for third world nations.

Truth be told, Obama, the Republican controlled Congress and Chamber of Commerce are LIARS of the first degree – and they are selling us out again. Why else would they keep the TPP treaty be a “secret deal”?
