Alberta Florine Johnson-Price, 88, of Hannibal, Missouri, and formerly of Center, Mo., and Nebo, Illinois, passed away at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, November 27, 2014, at Beth-Haven Nursing Home in Hannibal, Mo.

Alberta Florine Johnson-Price, 88, of Hannibal, Missouri, and formerly of Center, Mo., and Nebo, Illinois, passed away at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, November 27, 2014, at Beth-Haven Nursing Home in Hannibal, Mo.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2014, at Calvary Baptist Church in Hannibal, Mo. Brother Jeff Anderson will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of services at Calvary Baptist Church in Hannibal. 

The James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, Missouri, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Price was born December 8, 1925, in Pike County, Illinois, to Charles Harvey Edward and Opal Elma (Smith) Crossman.

She married Kaye Reed Johnson of Nebo, Illinois, on December 24, 1943. He preceded her in death, December 14, 1980.

Surviving are three children, Carol J. Maulding (Thomas), Lois M. McClintock (Kenneth), and Randy K. Johnson (Carolyn); nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She later married Harry W. Curtis in April 1982, and that marriage ended in July 1983.

She then married Marvin Joseph Price on May 3, 1986, at Calvary Baptist Church in Hannibal Mo., and with this marriage brought three stepchildren, Marvin "Sonny" Price Jr., Michael J. Price and Dena A. Buckallew (Gary); and several stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren. Marvin preceded her in death on July 23, 2014.

Mrs. Price is also survived by two sisters, Leona L. Ralph (Henry) and Wanda Lee Grammer (Jerry); and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Connie Sue Johnson; two sisters, Waneda Myers and Vaneda Crossman; two brothers, Kyle Crossman and Neal Crossman; one stepdaughter, Marilyn Jo Price Johnson; and  two stepgrandchildren.

Alberta was a very active member of Calvary Baptist Church in Hannibal, Mo.

Memorials contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church or Community Loving Care Hospice or Beth Haven Activity Fund, in care of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
