Mr. Frank R. Cash, 69, of Frankford, Missouri, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2013 at the Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, Missouri.
He was born on February 19, 1944, in La Jolla, California, to John and June Cash. He was married to Kathy Martin on November 12, 1966, in Louisiana, Missouri and she survives.
Other survivors include a son, Frank (Beth) Cash of Paloma, Illinois; a daughter, Amy (Mike) Colbert of West Branch, Iowa; 2 grandsons, Ben and Matt Colbert of West Branch, Iowa; 2 sisters, Joan (J.D.) Sorrell and Linda Rose both of Frankford, Missouri; a brother in-law, Mike (Sallie) Martin of Kirksville, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Brad Cash.
Frank was a graduate of Frankford High School, Hannibal-LaGrange College, and the University of Missouri-Columbia.
He worked as a building contractor most of his life and retired from Pike Grain. Frank was a member of the Calvary Episcopal Church where he served as lay reader and vestry member. He enjoyed the outdoors, sports, helping others, and most of all, spending time with his family.
A Memorial Service will be held at Calvary Episcopal Church on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 1 p.m., with visitation to follow.
Memorial donations may be given to the Wesley McIntire Cancer Fund (c/o Kathy Cash), the Calvary Episcopal Church, or the YMCA Pool Fund.
