Austin D. Riley, Mexico, Mo., (born 1993) was found guilty by a jury of possession of a controlled substance, a Class C felony, in Monroe County Circuit Court on March 13. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for May 2, 2013, before Judge Rachel Bringer Shepherd at Paris, Mo. The defendant was represented by David Clayton of the public defender’s office. Riley was remanded to the sheriff and his bond was increased to $30,000, cash only.
