Warren L. Kurfman, 69, of Hannibal, Mo., died Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at his home.

Warren L. Kurfman, 69, of Hannibal, Mo., died Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at his home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at the James O’Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, Mo. Pastor Warren Brosi will officiate.  Arrangements for cremation will follow services.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at the funeral home.
Warren was born on Oct. 28, 1943, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to Owen L. and Lola M. Turner Kurfman.
Mr. Kurfman retired from the Hannibal School District, where he was employed as a custodian. Warren enjoyed attending Hannibal Cavemen baseball games and watching the St. Louis Cardinals. He also liked to hunt and fish, but most of all he loved to spend time with family and friends. Mr. Kurfman was a Baptist by faith.
Mr. Kurfman is survived by three children, Charles Kurfman (Amy) of Rochester, Ill., Alisa Patrick (Jerome) of Hannibal, Mo., and Justin Wade Kurfman (Stephanie) of Auburn, Ill.; his twin brother, Wendell Kurfman (Connie) of Norco, Calif.; three sisters, Doris Olson of Goldfield, Iowa, Leah Knight (Delbert “Joe”) of Palmyra, Mo., and Carolyn Roseberry of Soudertown, Pa.; seven grandchildren, Lily, Hope, Emma, and Liam Kurfman; Devin Crockett, and Calin and Lorin Kurfman; and two sisters-in-law,  Bertha Kurfman of Eagle Grove, Iowa, and Sharon Kurfman of Collinsville, Texas. Other survivors include several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
Warren was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Richard and Roger Kurfman; and one brother-in-law, Duane K. “Bill” Olson.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, New Salem United Methodist Church in New Berlin, Ill., or to the Durham Baptist Church, in care of the James O’Donnell  Funeral Home of Hannibal, Mo.
