A Hannibal man was arrested after an accident Saturday night on Bird Street near North Arch.

 


  A Hannibal man was arrested after an accident Saturday night on Bird Street near North Arch.
   Police responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident at about 10 p.m. A witness to the accident reportedly followed the suspect as he fled. The witness told officers the suspect was at Broadway and Hayden, where he fled from a vehicle and got into a fight.
   Arrested for driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving and no proof of insurance was 25-year-old Samuel C. Hood. He was taken to the Marion County Jail.
   The driver of the other vehicle, a 33-year-old Hannibal woman, was not injured.
