Similar declines are seen in Saverton (18.18 feet, a drop of 0.49 of a foot), Louisiana (18.22 feet, a drop of 0.44 of a foot) and Clarksville (28.77 feet, a drop of 0.39 of a foot).
The river’s decline is expected to continue into the weekend when it is forecast to level off just below 18 feet.
