Donald Lee Bagby, 58, of Quincy, Ill., and formerly of Hannibal, Mo., died at 9:57 a.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.


Donald Lee Bagby, 58, of Quincy, Ill., and formerly of Hannibal, Mo., died at 9:57 a.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.
Graveside services and burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 27, at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Hannibal. Raymond Crane will officiate. There will be no visitation.
The James O’Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Bagby was born May 25, 1951, in Hannibal, Mo., to Donald and Carlene Rogers Bagby.
Survivors include his mother of Quincy, Ill.; one son, Matthew Bagby (Melissa) of Hannibal, Mo.; one daughter, Lora Ann Bagby of Hannibal, Mo.; one brother, Mark Macanufo of Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister, Jayni Diane Boyd of Phoenix, Ariz.; two grandsons, Matthew Brenton Lee Bagby and Brandon Michael Lee Bagby; two granddaughters, Julia Jean Glauser and Kristin Angel Trujillo; and one nephew, Nicholas Boyd.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Mr. Bagby was a U.S. Marine veteran, having served from 1970-1973. He loved music, fishing, watching western movies on TV, especially the Outlaw Josie Wales, and he loved visiting with his friends. Don was a member of the PVA, Paralyzed Veterans of America.
