A burglary suspect who was on his way to a court hearing eluded authorities for 15 minutes after getting away from a deputy.
Authorities say 17-year-old Blake A. Havens ran Tuesday  as he was being led from the jail to the nearby Pike County Courthouse in Pittsfield.
Inmates normally are led to the courthouse in waist and leg restraints, but authorities said Havens and two other inmates wore only the waist chains Tuesday because of slick conditions.
Havens led police on a two-mile foot chase before he was caught near Washington Court and returned to jail.
