Marion County Prosecuting Attorney Tom Redington reported the following Circuit Court cases.
• Larry Lewis, on a motion to revoke probation, on Nov. 25, Judge David Mobley revoked his probation and he was sentenced to 30 days in the Marion County Jail.
• Leecil W. Pettit, charged with receiving stolen property. On Nov. 25, Pettit pleaded guilty and was sentenced by Judge Mobley to 20 days in the Marion County Jail.
• Michael L. Prebe, charged with driving while intoxicated, second offense. On Nov. 25, he pleaded guilty and Judge Mobley sentenced him to six months in the Marion County Jail. He was granted a suspended execution of sentence, pending successful completion of private probation for two years. He will also be required to serve five consecutive days of shock incarceration, pay his own board bill, complete 20 hours community service, pay a fine of $250, complete any counseling and treatment the probation officer requires, pay $100 to the “Marion County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund,” pay court costs and pay the recoupment of funds according to the MSHP, MCSD or HPD request in the file.
• Rebecca Powell, charged with driving while intoxicated, first offense. On Nov. 25 she pleaded guilty and Judge Mobley granted her a suspended imposition of sentence, pending successful completion of private probation for two years. She will also be required to complete 20 hours community service, complete a SATOP program, attend a Victim Impact Panel (VIP), pay $100 to the “ Marion County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund,” pay court costs and pay the recoupment of funds according to the MSHP and MCSD.
