The Endangered Species Act focuses on keeping our planet's life-giving diversity. It is being attacked constantly by short-sighted legislators.

We have lost sight of the dependence we have on nature in economics. It has been said by a wise person that when taking something apart, as we are doing to the earth, you must save all the pieces. Rep. (Sam) Graves says he is introducing a bill to defund the Endangered Species Act which is comparable to throwing away the critical parts of our shared environment.

Defending the Endangered Species Act may not seem good to the corporate world for their short term bottom line, but it is essential for our true wealth, the natural world that sustains us all. The future or our children and grandchildren depends on it.
