Larry Dean Davis, 59, of Hannibal passed away at 3:32 p.m., Monday, February 24, 2020, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hannibal.

Friends and family are invited to Larry's Life Celebration at a visitation that will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, March 2, 2020, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal.

Mr. Davis was born January 31, 1961, in Hannibal, to Paul A. Davis and Betty L. Bohon Davis Douse.

He was previously married to Donna Bush. She preceded him in death on December 21, 2015.

Survivors include his mother, Betty Douse of Hannibal, one daughter, Kristin Davis (Joe Mudd) of Hannibal, two step children, Chaunte Swartz (Auvi Williams)and Chantelle Swartz (Chris Sherman), two brothers Russell Davis of Hannibal and Chris Douse (Katy) of Hannibal. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Riley, Regan, Gabriel and Cataleya and nieces and nephews.

Larry is preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.

Professionally Larry worked as a mechanic at Swan and Gottman for many years and later at Accurate Exhaust, both of Hannibal.

Larry loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He always enjoyed old cars and especially enjoyed Chevrolets and reminisced often about the 1966 Chevelle he once owned. Putting out tomatoes and peppers in the garden, watching old episodes of Bonanza on TV and visits to the flea market to just look around were a few of Larry’s favorites. Most of all Larry simply enjoyed the moments he shared with friends and family.

Larry attended God's Gathering Place in Frankford.

Pallbearers will be John Bridgman, Yancey Yakes, Lydell Thomas, Dennis Reeves and Joe Soucy.

Honorary pallbearers will be Codi Douse, Ronald Dungan, Phillip Cerveny, Sonny Fitzpatrick, Jeremiah Bush and Devan Hubbard.

Memorial contributions may be made to his Grandchildren's Education Fund, please make checks payable to Kristin Davis.
