PERRY, Mo. | The NEMO Chapter of Back Country Horsemen of MO (BCHMO) will be holding its annual reorganizational meeting on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, at the M.W. Boudreaux Visitors Center at the Mark Twain Lake Dam.
Social hour will begin at 5 p.m.; a carry-in dinner will be at 6 p.m.; with the business meeting starting promptly at 7 p.m. Meat and paper products will be provided, along with water, tea, and coffee.
The BCHMO is first and foremost a service organization. Members volunteer their time and energies to keep equestrian trails open and enjoyable to horsemen. They clear deadfall, prune low hanging branches, clear brush, pick up trash, improve trail heads and work on erosion control projects on Missouri's public lands.
The NEMO Chapter of BCHMO works in partnership with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers at Mark Twain Lake, ensuring that multi-use trails are maintained and accessible to the public. BCHMO members also have a Cooperative Agreement with Missouri Department of Conservation to provide assistance with trail maintenance at Deer Ridge Conservation Area in Lewis County.
BCHMO members invite anyone who enjoys the trails to attend their meeting.
More information or the opportunity to RSVP are available by contacting Becki Krueger at 660-341-7880.
