Hannibal Regional announces births from Dec. 12 — Jan. 8

HANNIBAL |Hannibal Regional staff members announced births from Dec. 12 to Jan. 8.

A daughter, Ziya Elizabeth Edwards, was born at 3:58 p.m. Dec. 12, 2019. She weighed 6 pounds 3 ounces and was 19 inches long. Her parents are Stephanie Beasley and Paul Edwards from Bowling Green.

A daughter, Lorelei Kay Wamsley, was born at 1:09 p.m. Dec. 16, 2019. She weighed 7 pounds and was 19 inches long. Her parents are Morgan Stover and Jeffrey Wamsley II of Hannibal.

A daughter, Olivia May Stout, was born at 9:26 a.m. Dec. 31, 2019. She weighed 5 pounds 15 ounces and was 19 inches long. Her parents are Buffy Wegehoft and Michael Stout from Hannibal.

A daughter, Rowyn May-Bione Thompson, was born at 9:53 a.m. Jan. 1, 2020. She weighed 6 pounds 10 ounces and was 18 inches long. Her parents are Hayley Durham and Vince Thompson of Hannibal.

A son, Nathan William Griffith, was born at 5:11 a.m. Jan. 8, 2020. He weighed 7 pounds 15 ounces and was 20 inches long. His parents are Kaela Burditt and Nathan Griffith of Hannibal.

A daughter, Juliet Ranae Land, was born at 1:07 p.m. Jan. 8, 2020. She weighed 7 pounds 3 ounces and was 19 inches long. Her parents are Amy and Caleb Land of Hannibal.

Uncertainty lingers over spring prep sports season
In a normal year, we would be talking about track meets, baseball games, soccer matches and golf duals right now.
Instead, the spring sports season is delayed for an undetermined amount of time while the world deals with the coronavirus pandemic. The Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) has not given an update on when the season will resume, other than they are not planning on canceling any spring sports championships.
