A Vandalia man has been arrested for allegedly making a bomb threat at Van-Far High School.
Eighteen-year-old Jon Thomas Jones was taken into custody last Thursday and accused of making the bomb threat the previous day. The school was evacuated but no bomb was found.
A court date had not been set. Law enforcement participating in the investigation were the Audrain County Sheriff’s Department, Missouri Highway Patrol, Vandalia Fire Department, Vandalia Police Department and the Missouri Capital Police.
