Hannibal man accused of having brass knuckles

A Hannibal man was arrested for allegedly having brass knuckles.
Thirty-eight-year-old Mark A. Gibbons was arrested for misdemeanor unlawful use of a weapon.
Police said they found brass knuckles in Gibbons’ pants pocket after a traffic stop at St. Mary’s and James Road at 2 a.m. Sunday.
Authorities reported the strong odor of intoxicants coming from the vehicle, and said Gibbons became agitate when officers conducted a field sobriety test.
Gibbons was released pending a review by the Marion County Prosecuting Attorney’s office.
