The Hannibal Police Department reported Friday, Nov. 20, that a suspicious male asked a 5-year-old if the child wanted a ride home from school Friday afternoon.
At 4:21 p.m. Friday officers were told the child was walking home after school on Fulton Avenue, when a male approached in a car and offered the child a ride. The child ran away and later told a parent.
There are no other known witnesses to the incident or similar reports in the area. The suspicious person was described as a white male in a small blue car. Anyone with any information connected to this incident are encouraged to contact the Hannibal Police Department.
