Katie Ann Shannon and Derek J. Webb were united in marriage on April 25, 2009, aboard the Mark Twain Riverboat. Captain Steve Terry officiated.
Katie is the daughter of Sam and Tammy Shannon of Hannibal. She is a 2004 graduate of Hannibal High School and a 2008 and 2009 graduate of Truman State University. She earned a bachelors of English and a masters of elementary education. She is currently employed as a music teacher at Mark Twain Elementary.
Derek is the son of Joe and Jenny Webb of Clarence, and Kevin and Diana Murphy of Macon. He is a 2000 graduate of Macon High School and a 2005 graduate of Moberly Area community College. He earned an associates degree in drafting design and technology. He is currently employed at Riverview Manufacturing.
The couple currently resides in Hannibal.
