Kristen Lynn Shores and Phillip Kane Mudd were united in marriage July 3, 2009. The ceremony was held at the Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Michael Quinn officiating. The reception was held at the Hannibal Country Club.
Kristen is the daughter of Kim and Lisa Shores. Kane is the son of Phillip and Rose Mudd, and Jill Ravenscraft and Jeff Bross.
Maid of honor was Dorry Martin, Fernandia Beach., Fla. Bridesmaids were Emily Harmon, Denver, Colo., Elizabeth Beguerie, Cypress, Texas, Emily Farwell, Kansas City, Mo., and Natasha Dittmer, Hannibal.
Best man was Jerome Beguerie, Cypress, Texas. Groomsmen were Andrew Shores, Columbia, Mo., Brenton Schnelle, St. Louis, Mo., Philip Novara, St. Louis, Mo., and Neil McMackin, Columbia, Mo.
Ushers were Geoffrey Morthland, Chicago, Ill., Austin Bross, Hannibal, Mo., Nicholas Mudd, Palmyra, Mo., and Schyler Losson, Kansas City, Mo.
The flower girl was Laura Shores, Daniel Island, S.C., and the ring bearer was Henry Boland, Hannibal.
Soloists were Cory Combs and Rachel Munzlinger and they were accompanied by Dr. Leslie McCoy. Wedding coordinator was April Kent.
The guest book was attended by Ashlee Bross and the programs were attended by Adrienne Fowler and Lauren Dial.
A couple’s shower was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. John Morthland, Mr. and Mrs. Stevens Plowman, Mr. and Mrs. Chase Hickman, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Jae, and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wenneker. A personal shower luncheon was hosted by Mrs. Regina Spilker. The bridal luncheon was hosted by Mrs. Emily Harmon, Mrs. Kristy Trevathan, and Mrs. Ann Lear. The rehearsal dinner was held at T.J.’s restaurant, hosted by Phillip and Rose Mudd. A brunch was held on July 4th and hosted by Jill Ravenscraft and Jeff Bross.
Kristen is a 2002 graduate of Hannibal High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Missouri with a degree in communication sciences and disorders. She graduated from St. Louis University in 2007 with a masters in communication sciences and disorders. She is employed as a speech language pathologist for the Hannibal Public School District.
Kane is a 2001 graduate of Hannibal High School and is pursuing his degree in civil engineering. He is employed by Chester Bross Construction.
They are planning to honeymoon in Jamaica and are currently residing in Hannibal.
