The Palmyra Lady panthers softball team traveled to Jefferson City and were recognized on the House and Senate floor.

Palmyra finished the softball season 23-2 and won the Class 2 State Championship.

Palmyra Managers Joe Brandenburg said the day was memorable.

“It was a very nice day and we are very appreciative to Representative Shumake and Senator Munzlinger for arranging the day,” Brandenburg said. “It was an experience none of us will forget.”
