Mat Sims signs a National Letter of Intent to kick for Northern Illinois University. Sims, a holder of 13 Hannibal High School records received numerous accolades as a three-way player. In college Sim will focus on kicking. He said he plans to go into NIU as the No. 1 kicker on kickoffs and placekicking. “It’s been a dream of mine to play Div. 1 football,” Sim said.
