The Northeast Missouri Hot Shots pose with their trophy after winning the AFA qualifier in Columbia on May 3 and 4. The 14-and-under Hot Shots won the May Madness Tournament in Columbia, going 6-1. Their win qualifies them for the AFA National Tournament. They also qualified for the USSSA Tournament last month. Team members include Skyler Alderton, Riley James, Jalen Zieger, Sally Brookshier, Lyndsie Baumbach, Shelby Hunsaker, Lorin Christenson, Ashley Curtis, Megan Creek, Whittney Creech and Taren Enyard.
