The Hannibal JV wrestling team headed to Boonville on Tuesday night. The Pirates took on both Rock Bridge and the host Boonville. Hannibal came away with a split, beating Rock Bridge 18-10, but losing to Boonville 12-0.
Clayton Rushford (125 pounds, Cory Jones (135 pounds) and Ethan Whitley (152 pounds) were the winners for Hannibal. All the wins came against Rock Bridge.
Zach Shipley (130 pounds) and Alex Terrell (160 pounds) lost their matches to Rock Bridge while Rushford and Terrell dropped their matches to Boonville.
